As you have noticed the prices listed below the mineral specimens are quite low, compared to professional dealers. Of course, I can’t ask you a £ 1.000 for a rock, I’m only an amateur who searches and collects minerals only for pleasure and fun.

Mineral collecting isn’t that cheap, sometimes you’re away for several days, you need sleep, food and a drink (of course!). Travel costs becomes higher and higher, every month. And, last but not least, who doesn’t want to become rich :--)

Should I give rock away for free?

Yes, often this is the case! It’s a pleasure to see people happy when they get a rock, especially kids! After all, that’s the way I became infected with the mineral microbe…

On the other hand, there are mineral specimens that are so rare, so beautiful and one of a kind. For them, I do want to have a certain price. I’m not that stupid, no?

Does this all sounds too expensive for you? I definitely don’t blame you!

I’m always open for discussion, but stay reasonable… very reasonable…
